The President's Own United States Marine Band

"The President's Own" United States Marine Band was founded in 1798 by an Act of Congress and is the oldest continuously active professional musical organization in the country. For the first time in five years, the Marine Band returns to the Midwest on Tour, performing a free 7:30 p.m. concert on Monday, October 23 at Miller Auditorium. The Western Michigan University Irving S. Gilmore School of Music has helped bring the ensemble from the nation's capital to Kalamazoo, MI for this community event.
