Spotlight On: Shannon Rininger

Our Spotlight On series was created to give us the chance to show off our amazing staff, volunteers and donors--without whom Miller Auditorium would not be what it is today.
Shannon Rininger is our Patron Services Manager here at Miller Auditorium. Shannon has been a very important part of the Miller team for over 22 years!
In her time here, Shannon has seen quite a few performances. Her favorites include Doc Severinson, Jersey Boys, Wicked, East Village Opera Company and STOMP, but she could certainly name many more! Shannon remembers an interesting night here at Miller when leaving after a performance. She had opened a door on stage and almost knocked Doc Severinson over! He was coming to thank the stage crew for a great performance before he left the venue. He was very gracious about the situation.
Outside of her work, Shannon enjoys music, reading – she is currently reading a biography on Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow--riding her bike and watching sports including baseball (Go Detroit Tigers!), hockey (Go Detroit Red Wings and WMU Broncos!) and football (Go WMU Broncos!). Thanks to Shannon for all she does to help make Miller Auditorium a great place to visit.
