New Broadway Musical 'Matilda' Donates Collection to Kalamazoo Public Library

Miller Auditorium recently took part in the Broadway League Spring Road Conference, in New York City, NY from May 15-18, 2013. The annual Broadway League Spring Road Conference is a four-day-long conference for producers and presenters from all over the country that’s filled with keynotes, marketing symposiums, discussions on the subscription model, information on how to educate the touring market about new Broadway shows and more.

In honor of the 2013 Conference, Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical has donated a 19-book set of Roald Dahl’s complete collection to a library in every market that was represented at the conference. The Kalamazoo Public Library will receive their 19-book set in June. “Kalamazoo Public Library thanks Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical for their generous donation of a complete set of Roald Dahl’s collection. We are certain our patrons will enjoy them,” said Farrell Howe, Marketing & Communications Manager for the Kalamazoo Public Library.

Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical is currently running in London and opened on Broadway in April. For more information visit To learn more about the Kalamazoo Public Library, visit
