General statement for Miller Auditorium Policies

As a presenter, Miller will implement COVID-19 protocols required by each artist/show. Please review your performance event page and Know Before You Go email for information on your show/event requirements. We appreciate your patience through these ever-evolving times.

Are masks still required inside Miller Auditorium?

At this time, WMU does not have a campus-wide mask mandate. Masks are only required at Miller when necessitated by an artist/show agreement. Please see detailed information in the left column.

Will masks be required for School of Music Performances?

At this time, WMU does require masks in classrooms and educational settings so masks will be required for School of Music events.

What are the mask requirements?

At this time, WMU does not have a campus-wide mask mandate. Miller will require masks if necessitated by an artist/show agreement. When required, face coverings should:

  1. Fit snugly against the side of your face and cover nose and mouth fully.
  2. Be secured with ties or ear loops

Is there a chance that masking/vaccination/negative test checks will be back for a future performance?

Yes, we anticipate having COVID safety conversations with each tour and will update the safety protocols based on our agreements and local health conditions.
