Gordon Lightfoot

Saturday, September 27 | 8 p.m.

Since emerging from the Toronto folk club scene in the early ‘60s, Gordon Lightfoot has recorded 19 albums, has had five Grammy® nominations and has won 17 Juno Awards in his native Canada. He is best known for the hit songs “If You Could Read My Mind,” “Sundown” and “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald,” and his songs have been covered by some of the world’s most successful recording artists including Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash.



Capitol Steps

Saturday, October 4 | 8 p.m.

Back by popular demand, the Capitol Steps began as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that once employed them and now pride themselves on putting the “MOCK” in Democracy. Taken together the performers have worked in eighteen Congressional offices. (Most of these politicians have since been defeated or placed under investigation.) Their latest album is appropriately titled Campaign and Suffering.



In The Mood Live

Now in its 15th year of touring, the sensational Big Band musical In The Mood brings the sounds of Benny Goodman, The Andrews Sisters, Tommy Dorsey and more to life with a full orchestra and authentic 1940s-era costumes and choreography. Take a “sentimental journey” back to the time big band music set the mood for a future filled with promise, hope and prosperity. From the intimate romantic ballads to the infectious up-tempo instrumentals, you’ll understand why this music moved the nation’s spirit.



Magic Tree House: The Musical

Based on Mary Pope Osborne’s beloved series of children’s books, Magic Tree House: The Musical transports Jack and Annie’s adventures onto the stage to create a theatrical event for the entire family. To restore joy and magic to King Arthur’s kingdom, the brother and sister team travel to Camelot’s dreaded Otherworld. Rising to each new challenge — and encountering a variety of fascinating characters along the way — Jack and Annie discover that imagination is a gift we can all use to fill our lives with magic.



Savion Glover's BARE SOUNDZ

Friday, November 7| 8 p.m.

Savion Glover’s BARE SOUNDZ is an exuberant celebration of tap dance to sound, and sound to dance. Using tap as song, Glover merges acoustical vibrations including beats from Jazz, Caribbean and other contemporary musical genres. This concert style production exposes tap dance as the acoustical instrument. BARE SOUNDZ display the infinite versatility and virtuoso of Glover’s genius as a tap master. Fans may recognize Glover as he recently performed on this season’s Dancing with the Stars. Younger fans will be familiar with his famous dance style, as he lent his tapping toes to the character Mumbles in last summer’s blockbuster hit Happy Feet.
